Who is Michael Redbord?
Michael Redbord is the VP of Services & Support at HubSpot; a leading inbound marketing, sales, and CRM growth stack. And he’s been a long-time member of the Support Driven community. You can find him on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/redbord or in our Slack channel @redbord.
What will Michael be talking about?
So there actually aren’t that many people out there who have had the experience of building a customer team from scratch. Most of us tend to gravitate to a certain company size — be it startups or enterprise. Michael is one of the rare people who has watched a customer team grow and evolve over time, and this gives him a really unique perspective on the challenges support teams face based on company size.
He joined HubSpot 7.5 years ago as an Inbound Marketing Consultant, basically a fancy word for a customer success manager. His primary responsibility was customer onboarding. His career grew with the company, and team, and his tenure has given him an enormous amount of perspective on what HubSpot got wrong and right on their journey to 22,000+ customers. And that’s what he’s going to be sharing with us at SupConf.
Why am I excited that Redbord will be speaking at SUPCONF?
We talk a lot about the “why” and the “how” in Support Driven, Michael is going to go deep on the “when.” He’ll be kicking off the event and I expect that his insights will give each of you a lot of perspective on the sessions that will be most valuable based on where you are as a business.
