But HubSpot wasn’t always a success. The road to this type of growth—from startup, through IPO, to a global brand—is never easy. The people who made this growth happen at HubSpot have learned a lot, and made a lot of mistakes. They’re excited to pull back the curtain at this event and candidly share everything they’ve learned along the way.
Talking to the HubSpot team about the event, it’s obvious they’re excited to share their experiences and passionate about helping other companies grow. “At HubSpot, we’re now in a place where we can give back to the community,” said Michael Redbord, General Manager of the Service Hub at HubSpot. “We’re psyched to host Summit at HubSpot HQ, but honestly even more excited to go deep on Wednesday. I can’t wait to put our leaders’ minds to work for the Summit attendees and help them grow and scale.”
At this half-day event, hosted by the people who built HubSpot Customer Success, we’ll discuss what it takes not just grow, but to in fact “grow better”—growing with soul, with your customers, in a sustainable way.
The SD x HubSpot Summit Event Schedule
This Wednesday morning event on October 31 has three components:
9:00 to 9:30am – Breakfast and Lightning Talks
Over breakfast, we’ll have three “from the trenches of growth” talks. These will be delivered by the leaders who helped HubSpot grow.
But the stories won’t be all sunshine and lollipops! HubSpot encountered plenty of tough situations along the way. So, we’ll munch and learn how HubSpot made key decisions along its path to growing better.
These three 10-minute talks will touch on scaling support, delivering proactive success, and building the Customer Success leadership team.
10:00 to 11:30am – Tactical Table Topics
After breakfast, we’ll break into small groups (6-10) at round tables, with each table organized around a specific topic. Topics will be focused, so groups can go deep: support, success, onboarding, leadership, operations, and recruiting, for instance.
Table topics will be informally led by a HubSpot leader with a background in that area, with the aim of facilitating a tactical, actionable discussion, and a vulnerable, open environment. This event benefits from your active participation. So bring real problems you’re encountering, and take away new approaches from the group!
We anticipate that attendees will be able to explore more than one topic, plus get a chance to ask questions of any of the HubSpot speakers from earlier in the morning.
11:30 to 12:00pm – Closing Keynote
To wrap up the day, we’ll have an inspirational closing keynote from a senior member of the HubSpot team. The who and the what are still top secret. Look out for an announcement on this closer to the event!
