Support Driven Expo 2022 - Call for Proposals
SD Expo brings the Support Driven community together to share how Customer Support really gets done so we can learn from each other and move the industry forward.
We’re looking for presentations for all experience levels from Beginner (0-3 years of experience) to Advanced (5+ years of experience) that fit into these tracks:
Career Development
Customer Experience
Data and Reporting
Knowledge Management
Management
Support Operations
Quality
Zendesk
Where
SD Expo will be at UNLV in Las Vegas on October 20-21.
Deadlines
Round 1 Review
July 1 - Applications close at midnight PST
July 14 - We will notify you about the status of your proposal
Round 2 Review
August 1 - Applications close at midnight PST
August 15 - We will notify you about the status of your proposal
Session Types
We’re looking for two different types of presentations at SD Expo:
Workshops:
45 minutes long
Lead attendees through a deliverable (worksheet, action plan, rubric, etc. - we’ll help!)
Talks:
20 minutes maximum
No interactive element required
Applicants receive
20% discount in appreciation for proposing a presentation
Speakers receive
A complimentary ticket for you
A complimentary ticket to share so you'll have a friendly face in the crowd
Feedback and support from a Talk Editor as you prepare your presentation
You agree that if we accept your application
You will participate in regular check-ins with your Talk Editor
You will adhere to our Code of Conduct
You (or your employer) will cover your travel and accommodation
We may use your name and photo to promote the conference
We may record your talk and slides (audio, video, photography) for use in social media, marketing, sales, and distribution

Write a brief pitch that tells us what your presentation is about and what the community will learn from it. If you need some pitch advice, our own Lisa Hunt wrote some advice for you.
